Alfago derives its name from local food, agricultural production and being part of the global organization. At Alfago, we are a global business with a clear purpose and perspective, caring about local values. At Alfago, we believe that our planet should be healthy, high quality and well-fed by supporting quality local food and increasing good agricultural practices. We see this as a social responsibility. Therefore, we count ourselves as part of a local and global organization.
We support policies that believe in this ideal, support high values, and ensure a healthy, quality and good life for all living things.
We care about the safety of food production in the world and in our country. Because we know that the qualified food chain feeds our planet healthily. That's why we stand by quality local food and good agriculture. We support this for two reasons: Being a mediator of a healthy, quality and good life and helping to reduce the increasing income inequality in the world.
We believe that contributing the producer will be beneficial for ensuring income justice; We believe that access to qualified, healthy and safe food will create healthy generations. We also believe that supporting the local producer will help preserve the attributes and cultures of growing and globalizing cities.
We participate in global organizations for the success of this starting point.
We will always continue to adopt the first three articles of the global goals, which are addressed in 17 articles of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We will carefully follow the steps of action in this regard.
For this reason, we support the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) priorities for food safety, especially for policies on access to healthy food and food safety.
At the same time, we are sensitive about climate change, which threatens the future of the world and people. We have prepared our list of things to do about climate change. We carefully follow the climate action plan.
We care about seeing the sensitivity on this issue in our partners and affiliates, rather than ourselves. The healthy, quality and well-being of future generations depends on the ability of like-minded people or communities to come together.
We like to be collective and work in harmony. So, we can turn this culture of togetherness and our achievements into an idea, a responsibility for our planet.
We always keep this on our agenda in order to increase our respect for the work we do.
We adopt policies that help improve humanity and the planet in every part of our operations and throughout our supply chains.
Of course, we are aware that it will take generations to correct these problems. We cannot do this alone. Therefore, we take care to establish permanent partnerships and collaborations with non-governmental organizations, voluntary organizations, international organizations and professional organizations to help transform systems that cause problems such as climate change or limited income for small-scale farmers.
